#257 - US warns against travel to SG & BMT exercise mats raise online furore

On Monday, the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advised against travel to a dozen countries because of high rates of coronavirus infection, one of which was Singapore. Why is SG getting labelled with such a bad rep, in spite of the heavy lockdowns we’re still experiencing? Closer to home, pictures of BMT recruits doing push-ups on foam exercise mats were posted on social media, and they went viral as online commentators started to question - should soldiers be allowed creature comforts like exercise mats while training?
